Some 10 minutes to doom stuff. Because I can. Lazy background is lazy.
This all started at 3am last night, when I had a mighty need to draw some sad Zim. So I sketched this out, and later i finished it.
I've had this idea in my head for a while actually(almost 2 months).
I heard that Jhonen originally wanted Zim and Dib to die at the end of the episode-as in killed off for real dead-to end the series. I'd kill to read that version of the script >:3
So what's happening here is Zim is aware that he's gonna die, his mission will be a failure, so he just kinda breaks down. I'm just imagining the whole seen if it actually went like this, like holy shit I might make a short comic of Zim dying. If this actually happened in the series, I'd be like
More shit about this drawing because reasons:
-I originally wanted to draw the sickly green goo that Zim coughs up, but I didn't really know how I would do that
-I think I did a decent job with the tears to actually make them look like tears...watery stuff is hard to do.
-The angle was really difficult for me to do, so it's probably off. Perspective is a pain in the ass.
-Overlays are extremely fun to do and they look cool. 'Nuff said.
-Just a reminder, it's 10 minutes to Doom, so dont tell me that Zim' PAK is missing because I am well aware of that.
-Why did I type so much stuff here.

really been in love with your art in general, but cant help but to especially point out this one ;-; the emotion is really strong in this one. i REALLY love his expression here a lot; makes me wanna revisit this unmade episode again >:")
